Privacy Policy

Effective: May 30, 2026 · Last updated: May 30, 2026

Motherhoodlikely LLC (“Motherhoodlikely,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at motherhoodlikely.com and shop.motherhoodlikely.com (the “Site”) and provides the products and services offered through the Site (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you give us directly

  • Account information: name, email address, password, and (if you create a profile) display name, photo, and bio.
  • Order and billing information: items purchased, billing address, and payment details. Payment card numbers are entered directly into our payment processor (Stripe — see Stripe's privacy notice) and are not stored on our servers.
  • Communications: the content of emails, support tickets, and survey responses.
  • Marketing preferences: whether you have opted in to receive newsletters or promotional email.

b. Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to manage them.

c. Information from third parties

  • Payment processor (Stripe): transaction status, fraud signals, and the last four digits and brand of your card. Stripe Privacy Policy.
  • Analytics and advertising platforms: none today. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising pixels on the Services. If that changes, we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy first.
  • Social sign-in (if offered): the basic profile fields the platform shares when you choose to sign in with a third-party account.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  1. Create and maintain your account and authenticate logins.
  2. Process orders, deliver products and access, and provide customer support.
  3. Operate, monitor, secure, and improve the Services.
  4. Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms & Conditions.
  5. Send transactional messages (order confirmations, receipts, access notices, account alerts).
  6. Send marketing email or SMS, but only if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
  7. Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and advertising.
  8. Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share it with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers who process information on our behalf under contract, including: payment processing (Stripe), sign-in and account management (Clerk), email delivery, hosting and infrastructure, and customer support tools.
  • Advertising partners: none. We do not use third-party advertising pixels and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. See our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect our rights, property, or safety; or to investigate fraud or violations of our terms.
  • Business transfers. If Motherhoodlikely is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.

We do not disclose your information to any other parties without your consent except as described above.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

See our Cookie Policy for details on the cookies and pixels we use, the categories they fall into, and how to manage your preferences.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. After you close your account or request deletion, we retain only the information we need to:

  • Complete transactions you started.
  • Comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations (typically seven years for financial records).
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
  • Maintain security and fraud-prevention records.

We then delete or de-identify the information.

6. Your Privacy Rights

a. All US users

You may:

  • Request a summary of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your account and request deletion of your personal information.
  • Opt out of marketing email at any time (unsubscribe link in every marketing email; transactional messages will continue).

To exercise these rights, email orders@motherhoodlikely.com from the address associated with your account. We will verify your identity before acting on the request, typically by confirming your email and recent order details.

b. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

In addition to the rights above, California residents have the right to:

  • Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months, the sources, the business purpose, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing you need to opt out of today. Our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page explains this and how to reach us about it.
  • Limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that trigger this right, but you may submit a request anyway.
  • Be free from retaliation for exercising these rights. We will not deny you Services, charge you different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.

We collect the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, IP), commercial information (purchases), internet activity (browsing on our Site), and inferences drawn from the above. In the past 12 months, we have disclosed these categories to: service providers and (when required) legal authorities.

c. Other US state residents

If you reside in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have rights substantially similar to those listed above, including the right to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising. Send requests to orders@motherhoodlikely.com.

d. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Some browsers (such as Brave, Firefox, and DuckDuckGo) and browser extensions can send a Global Privacy Control(GPC) signal that automatically asks every website to opt you out of having your data shared for advertising. If your browser sends this signal, we honor it as an opt-out for that browser — you do not need to do anything else.

7. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at orders@motherhoodlikely.com and we will delete it. Users between 13 and 18 must have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Services.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards, including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, access controls, and a documented incident-response process. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password and account credentials confidential.

9. International Users

The Services are operated from the United States and are intended for use by US residents. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

10. Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be announced by email or by a notice on the Site in advance of taking effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
