This Cookie Policy explains how Motherhoodlikely LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on motherhoodlikely.com and shop.motherhoodlikely.com (the “Services”). It is a companion to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we treat personal information generally.

They let the site remember things about your visit — your login state, your cart, your preferences — and they help us understand how the site is used. We also use related technologies (pixels, tags, local storage, and SDKs) that work in similar ways. In this policy we use “cookies” to mean all of them.

• First-party (set by us) or third-party (set by services we work with).
• Session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored for a defined period).

2. The Cookies We Use

We keep this simple, because our cookie use is simple. The Services currently use only the following:

a. Strictly Necessary

These are required for the Services to work — your shopping cart and session, signing in, checkout, and fraud prevention. The Services would not function without them.

• Cart and session cookies set by us, so your cart follows you from page to page.
• Clerk sign-in cookies, which keep you signed in to your account.
• Stripe cookies used for payment processing and fraud prevention at checkout.

b. First-Party Attribution

We set one first-party attribution cookie, mhl_attr, that remembers how you found the shop (for example, which blog post or link brought you here) so we can credit that source if you place an order. It is set and read only by us and is not used for advertising on other sites.

c. Analytics

We do not run an analytics tool today, so the Services set no analytics cookies. If we enable one in the future, we will update this policy first and list the provider in the table below before any analytics cookies are set.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising pixels of any kind.

3. How to Manage Cookies

a. Your browser

Most browsers let you block cookies, delete existing cookies, or alert you when a new one is being set. See your browser's help pages:

Blocking Strictly Necessary cookies will prevent core parts of the Services from working, such as the cart, sign-in, and checkout.

b. Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it. Because we do not share personal information for advertising, there is nothing further the signal needs to switch off today.

4. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no industry consensus on how to interpret DNT, so we do not respond to it. We do honor the Global Privacy Control signal (see Section 3.b).

5. Cookies Currently Set on the Services

The parties listed below currently set cookies through the Services. The exact list may change as we update our tools — we will keep this section current.

We have no control over the cookies Clerk and Stripe set or the data they collect through them. Their use is governed by their privacy policies.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — including before we ever add an analytics tool. The “Last updated” date above shows when. Material changes will be announced by email or by a notice on the Site.
